Please join us for the February Nakayoshi event: Kimekomi Japanese Doll Making Demonstration on Saturday, February 4, 2025 from 1:00-3:00pm. Kimekomi dolls originated in Kyoto in the 18th century. It is a Japanese technique of tucking fabric, such as kimono fabric into grooves to create dolls, balls, and other decorations. The word “kimekomi” translates to
